We are only three weeks away from our Annual Congress to be held in Malaga, from 1 to 5 November.

So far, more than 250 members have registered and there is still space for those of you that would like to join us.

Our Annual General Assembly will be of utmost importance since, amongst others, we are going to announce who will be the 10 new 2024 Regional Directors, the 2024 President and the Vice President/2025 President Elect. Thus, paving the way to the entrance of our new governance structure.

At the same time, our new I.T. Platform will be presented. The work performed by Past-President Burcin Turkkan, the General Secretariat team and the Omnigo company is worthy of recognition. Many hours have been invested during the year and, just recently, the system was tested by the Executive Board and the members of the Technology Committee. It encompasses a number of new features that I am sure will be deeply appreciated by all.

Apart from the important B2B sessions that will be held, various of the Committees will be presenting their achievements. Remember that more than a 125 Skålleagues have been participating in them to make our beloved Association more efficient and with a greater impact in the hospitality industry.

This year, 68 sustainable projects have been submitted. Never in the past had we registered such a big number of initiatives. Something that is very commendable and reflects the importance that we are all giving to make this a better world.

For those of you who will not be able to participate in person, please remember that the AGA will have a hybrid format, so you can join us via your computer or mobile phone. Also, may I remind all Skål International Club Delegates that any vote that will need to take place during the Assembly will be done via the Skål International App. Elections will be conducted via Election Buddy prior to the AGA and the results announced at the AGA.
